![]() There have been many times since I became a mom that I would get up in the morning to a crying baby, pick him out of the crib, and his tiny body would just melt against mine. We don’t know what God has planned, but we do know that whatever God has planned has been sovereignly planned. When our mornings feel like they are full of trouble and stress, remember that he is our salvation in times of trouble, as this verse declares. We have a very gracious God that is patient with us. One thing that helps me in the mornings is the reminder from 1 Peter 5:7 that my God cares for me and that I can literally cast my worries and anxieties on him.
